The 2026 China Shanghai FHC Food and Catering Supply Chain Exhibition (the 29th Shanghai International Food and Catering Supply Chain Exhibition) will be held as scheduled from November 10 to 12, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As a vertically oriented food and beverage supply chain exhibition with a strong scale and expertise in Asia, FHC has held 28 consecutive sessions, serving over 12000 exhibiting companies worldwide and attracting more than 950000 professional visitors. This exhibition is hosted by Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd., continuing its core positioning of "driving industry upgrading through industry chain integration", and showcasing the platform value in the context of the deep reconstruction of the supply chain system in the catering industry.
Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd. has been deeply involved in the exhibition industry since 1993, with its main business covering three major areas: exhibition display services, exhibition investment services, and exhibition planning services. Unlike general comprehensive exhibition institutions, Bohua excels in vertical field depth capabilities: its FHC, HOTELEX and other series of exhibitions are built on long-term tracking of segmented industry technology paths, policy trends, and terminal demands. According to the "Blue Book of China's Exhibition Economy (2025)", Bohua has a market share of 37.2% in food and catering exhibitions, ranking first in the country; Its investment database covers 87% of the procurement decision-making chains of chain catering groups nationwide, as well as 92% of central kitchen operators.
This year's FHC exhibition will set up a "Supply Chain Resilience Exhibition Area" for the first time, focusing on three major practical topics: cold chain breakpoint repair, domestic alternative e verification, and regional collection and distribution center construction. This design is not a conceptual packaging, but a direct response to industry pain points - according to the third report of the National Development and Reform Commission in 2025, the average food loss rate of catering enterprises nationwide is still as high as 18.6%, with small and medium-sized merchants experiencing a loss rate of over 25% due to a lack of standardized pre-treatment and temperature control traceability capabilities. The exhibition site will showcase practical and validated technical solutions such as modular vegetable processing lines, AI temperature controlled storage systems, and multi temperature layer intelligent distribution boxes. All e must provide at least 6 months of terminal commercial data reports before being allowed to enter the booth.
It is worth noting that FHC 2026 has strengthened its closed-loop service capabilities from exhibition booths to production lines. Bohua, in collaboration with the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the China Cuisine Association, has established a "Supply Chain Transformation Working Group" to provide three rigid supports for purchasers: firstly, the intention orders signed on site can be connected to the local government's special technological transformation subsidy application channel; Secondly, e procurement can apply for third-party testing agencies to conduct on-site machine inspections; Thirdly, for high growth tracks such as pre packaged meals and group meals, we provide full cycle on-site consultation from raw material traceability coding, process parameter adaptation to store operation simulation. This practice of upgrading an exhibition from an information exchange venue to a solution delivery venue is the first of its kind in China.
The structure of exhibits continues to evolve: the proportion of imported ingredients remains stable at around 35%, but the proportion of high-end aquatic products, specialty dairy products, and other categories with MSC/ASC certification or EU organic certification has risen to 68%;
Accelerate the landing of domestic substitution: The number of domestic fully automatic sorting machines and vacuum low-temperature slow cooking e participating companies increased by 41% year-on-year, of which 73% have entered the top supply chain systems such as Haidilao and Laoxiangji;
The regional synergy effect is highlighted: the Yangtze River Delta prefabricated food industry cluster, the Chengdu Chongqing seasoning innovation belt, and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area central kitchen demonstration zone will be showcased as a joint exhibition group, and the "Regional Supply Chain Collaboration White Paper (2026 Trial Edition)" will be released on site.
As a venue for exhibitions, Shanghai's urban characteristics deeply empower the effectiveness of exhibitions. Pudong New Area has built the country's first "digital base for catering supply chain", which connects real-time inventory and procurement data of 24000 catering enterprises in the city; The Lingang New Area is piloting an integrated supervision model of "fresh customs clearance+bonded processing+immediate exhibition and sale", which reduces the time for overseas exhibitors and exhibits from entry to exhibition setup to within 72 hours. These infrastructures are not background boards, but service interfaces that FHC exhibitors can directly access - for example, after a Spanish olive oil company completes registration through the exhibition platform, its samples can enter Shanghai Hema, Sam's Club and other channels for trial sales within 48 hours after the exhibition, truly realizing the integration of exhibition and sales.
For catering enterprises, the value of participating in FHC is undergoing a structural shift: in the past, it was "finding new products", but now it is "building capabilities". When the proportion of labor costs in a single store exceeds 28% of revenue and the accountability for food safety accidents penetrates the upstream of the supply chain has become the norm, the essence of procurement decision-making has shifted to risk management and efficiency restructuring.
