     新推出的lightsensor是基于半导体的光电效应原理所开发的光线传感器，其可用来对周围环境光的强度进行检测，结合各种单片机控制器可实现光的测量、光的控制和光电转换等功能，此传感器3p插针接口，可通过3p传感器连接线（不分模拟与数字连接线）与传感器扩展板结合使用，可以制作光感相关的互动作品。

what is a photocell?
photocells are sensors that allow you to detect light. they aresmall, inexpensive, low-power, easy to use and don't wear out. forthat reason they often appear in toys, gadgets and appliances.theys are are often referred to as cds cells (they are made ofcadmium-sulfide), light-dependent resistors (ldr), andphotoresistors.

photocells are basically a resistor thatchanges its resistive value (in ohms ω) depending on how much lightis shining onto the s face. they are very low cost, easy toget in many sizes and specifications, but are very innacurate. eachphotocell sensor will act a little differently than the other, evenif they are from the same batch. the variations can be reallylarge, 50% or higher! for this reason, they shouldn't be used totry to determine precise light levels in lux or millicandela.instead, you can expect to only be able to determine basic lightchanges

for most light-sentsitive applications like"is it light or dark out", "is there something in front of thesensor (that would block light)", "is there something interruptinga laser beam" (break-beam sensors), or "which of multiple sensorshas the most light hitting it", photocells can be a goodchoice!
