1、实际负载容量:这是决定ups容量大小的根本因素。ups的输出能力必须达到或超过负载需要才能保证正常供电。实际应用中要考虑ups是采用集中式供电还是分布式供电。采用集中式供电的负载总量应是将机房所有由ups供电负载的功率累计。采用分布式供电的则根据每台ups所带负载不同确定。
2、负载的类型:不同类型的负载其有功功率和无功功率的比例不同,但ups需向负载同时提供足够的有功功率
和无功功率,则实际输出能力受负载类型所限制。以功率因数为0.7的ups为例,一般地计算方法是:阻性负载的va值=w值÷0.7;感性负载的va值=w值÷0.3。
3、ups容量使用率:对于大功率ups,一般建议容量使用率控制在0.6～0.8。
