什么是使馆双认证？

使馆双认证，简称领事双认证（legalization by embassy orconsulate）,又称“外交双认证”。是指一国外交、领事机构及其授权机构在公证文书或其他证明文书上，确认公证机构、相应机*关或者双认证机构的..后一个签字或者印章属实的活动。

what is dual embassy certification?

embassy dual authentication, referred to as legalization byembassy or consulate, also known as "diplomatic dualauthentication". refers to the activities of a country's diplomaticand consular agencies and their authorized agencies to confirm thelatest signature or seal on the notarial document or othercertification documents by the notary agency, the correspondingagency or the dual certification agency.

涉外公证/书必须办-理领事双认证吗?

　　一般情况下，我国内出具的涉外公证/书在送往国外使用前，应按有关规定办-理领事双认证。

　　目前，加拿大、日本等少数country对我国文书免除领事双认证。美国、法国等国免除我国部分种类文书的领事双认证。但如上述country的有关主管机*关仍坚持要求文书办-理领事双认证的，则应按其要求办-理领事双认证。

尚未与我国建交的country，其领事双认证如何办-理？

目前可以参考以下三种办法：⑴征得进口商同意，找第三国的驻华使（领）馆代为双认证；

⑵仅由外交部领事司对文件进行双认证；

⑶与进口商协商，由贸促会出具证明，证明进口国目前在中国尚无使馆，为此要求给予免认单据文件的待遇。
