properties and advantages of pp: 1. pp resin is a white waxy solidwith a very low density between 0.89 and 0.92 g / cm3. pp is lightin the plastic material except for 4--1-ene (p4mp) . polypropylenehas good comprehensive properties, abundant raw materials, simpleproduction process and low price. pp mechanical properties andpolyethylene, its strength, stiffness and hardness are relativelyhigh, good gloss. but it's still low in plastic. if you need highstrength, you can choose high-crystalline polypropylene or filled,reinforced polypropylene. the impact strength of pp is temperaturedependent, and its impact strength is low, especially at lowtemperature. the impact strength of pp is also related to molecularweight, crystallinity and crystal size.

2.pp的结晶度高，结构规整，应而具有优良的力学性能，其强度和硬度，弹性都比dhpe高，但在室温和低温下，由于本身的分子结构规整度高，所以冲击强度较差，分子量增加的时候，冲击强度也增大，但成型加工性能变差，聚丙烯还具有优良的抗弯曲疲劳性，其制品在常温下可弯折106次而不损坏。

3.pp具有良好的耐热性，熔点在164170度，制品能在100度以上温度进行消毒，在不受外力的情况下，150度也不变形，脆化温度-35度，在低于-35度会发生脆化。

4.pp的高频绝缘性能优良，由于它几乎不吸水，绝缘性能不受湿度影响，它有较高的介电性，且随温度的上升，可以用来制作受热的电气绝缘纸品。
