磁悬浮飞轮储能ups是一种基于飞轮储能的原理而开发的以机械储能方式替代传统化学蓄电池储能技术，能够提供在线互动式输入输出方式的新型ups产品。

　　1)在市电输入正常的情况下，磁悬浮飞轮储能ups通过其内部的有源动态滤波器对市电进行稳压和滤波，保证向负载设备提供高品质的电力保障，同时对飞轮储能装置进行充电，磁悬浮飞轮储能ups利用内置的飞轮储能装置储存能量；　　

　　2) 在市电输入偏低或偏高（允许范围内）的情况下，工作原理同上；

 随着经济的不断发展，对汇集大量金融保险的写字楼和办公楼电力供应提出了较高的要求。为了解决用户重要负荷正式电源和后备电源的问题，需要建立一套合理高效，安全可靠的供电系统。然而除安全可靠的电源外，还需要满足负荷量瞬时输出较大、供电电压稳定、排除高次谐波干扰、空间位置条件有限、后期维护费用和运行费用预算较低，设备一旦投入使用后检修工作不得停止供电或发生电源中断等条件。一般可供选择方案有备用发电机+传统蓄电池ups+动态电源滤波装置的供电系统方案和新型磁悬浮飞轮ups+备用发电机方案。对于传统蓄电池方案文献，著作论述较多，本文着重介绍柴油发电机和磁悬浮飞轮ups组成的不间断电源供电系统在工程实践中的应用。其供电系统示意图如图1所示。

　　由图1所示为了保证重要负荷的供电安全和电能质量的要求，方案中采用双路10kv/400v高压变压器供电，低压分段母线由自动联络开关互连，在一路故障路电源断电后自动联络开关动作将所带负荷分配到正常供电电源，从而实现了正常运行时两台变压器互为备用。在双路电源全部失效情况下供电系统中后备柴油发电机接到市电中断的信号后，在10秒钟内自动启动并且稳定输出，通过ats开关对磁悬浮飞轮ups供电，发电机将保证提供大于8小时的连续供电。另一方面，当电源输入质量无法满足飞轮储能ups正常运行要求，或者在市电输入中断的情况下，先由飞轮储能ups内部的储能装置（即飞轮储能装置）将机械能转化为电能为末端关键设备供电，由ups供电的时间称为过渡时间，足够长的过渡时间，保证系统能够在末端设备毫无察觉的状态下实现了市电供电向后备发电机供电的转换，实现了在发电机启动过程中仍然向关键设备提供高品质并且不间断的电力保障。　　

　　1.飞轮储能技术原理　　

　　磁悬浮飞轮ups是一种新型机械储能装置，当充电时电动机通过变频调速逐步提高飞轮转子的转速，将电能转化为飞轮的动能存储起来；而放电时，则通过发电机向外输出电能，使飞轮转速逐步下降。飞轮的可提取能量与飞轮的大安全运转速度、小稳定运转速度，以及飞轮的转动惯量有关。其关系公式如下：

　　式(1-1)中j为飞轮转动惯量，ω为飞轮的转速。由式(1-1)可以看出，飞轮储存的动能与其转速的平方成正比。因此，高速飞轮的储能量和能量密度都远远高于低速飞轮，提高飞轮转速增大储能量的有效手段，不平衡转动力矩的作用是飞轮转速改变的根本原因。这一关系可描述为：

　　当转矩的方向与飞轮转动方向一致时，飞轮受到正向不平衡转矩的作用而化为动能储存起来；相反，当飞轮减速时，动能转化为电能输出。飞轮在大转速与小速度之间之间循环运转时，可以吸收和释放的能量公式为：

　　图2所示为activepower公司ups产品核心部件磁悬浮飞轮结构示意图，其待机稳态保持转速为7700转/每分钟，放电小转速为2000转/每分钟。由式1-1可计算得出此飞轮的放电效率可达到93%，具有极高的放电效率。飞轮储能装置结构一般都是由一个圆柱形旋转质量块和磁悬浮轴承支撑机构组成，采用磁悬浮轴承的目的是消除摩擦损耗，提高驱动效率，延长零件的使用寿命。另外为使飞轮有足够高的储能效率，减少风阻损耗，飞轮储能系统被置于真空度较高的环境中运行。飞轮与电动/发电机同轴相连，通过电力电子能量转换装置，可进行飞轮转速的调节，实现储能装置与电网之间的能量交换。
