现在的后备式ups多数配置的是铅酸免维护电池。影响电池使用寿命的因素有：ups的使用环境、环境温度、充放电电流、充电电压、放电深度，在这些方面需要注意的是：　　1.ups的使用环境　　

　　ups应尽可能安装在清洁、阴凉、通风、干燥的地方，这样可以减少有害灰尘对ups内部线路的腐蚀；还要避免受到阳光、加热器（如冬天用的取暖器）或其他辐射热源的影响。ups应正立放置,不可倾斜角度。　　

　　2.环境温度　　

　　环境温度对ups电池的影响较大，环境温度过高，会使电池过充电产生气体，环境温度过低，则会使电池充电不足，这都会响电池的使用寿命。环境温度在25℃左右是比较理想的，这样的环境温度对电脑主机和显示器也是非常适宜的。　　

　　3.充放电电流　　

　　ups电池充放电电流一般以c来表示，c的实际值与电池容量有关。举例来讲，如果是100ah的电池，则c＝100a。充电电流过大或过小都会影响电池的使用寿命。

ups的使用方法和注意事项。　　

　　家用ups的使用方法比较简单。将ups的插头插入市电插座，需要注意的是，一定要确保市电插座的零、火线正确，即满足"左零右火"，同时保证地线接地情况良好，将需要不间断供电的设备，例如电脑主机、显示器等的电源线插头插入ups背部的插座，打开ups的电源开关，等ups自检通过后，再依次开启显示器、电脑主机等。　　

　　如遇市电中断的情况，因为家用ups的供电时间是有限的，要立刻保存当前的工作，并关闭电脑主机和显示器以及其它外设，然后再关闭ups，等市电供电恢复正常后再继续使用。　　

　　在使用的过程中，还要注意的是，ups内有大容量蓄电池，在没有人员在场的情况下，请不要随意打开ups的外壳，以防触电；也不要为了省事，将茶杯或饮料瓶等装有液体的容器放在ups上，防止液体溅入ups内部，导致ups短路，因为ups内部如果短路，会导致电击或着火；另外，接入ups的负载容量不能过大，要根据ups的大输出负载容量来计算可以接入的负载容量。　　

　　一般的计算公式为：ups的大输出负载容量≥ups的外接负载容量÷0.8即ups的外接负载容量应为ups的大输出负载容量的80%以下，选择80%负载主要是考虑到负载启动的冲击电流以及用户今后扩容的需要。

　　六.ups的维护和保养　　

　　良好的维护和保养，可以极大地延长ups的使用寿命。蓄电池是ups系统中的一个重要组成部分，它的优劣直接关系到整个ups系统的可靠程度，然而蓄电池却又是整个ups系统中平均无故障时间（mtbf）短的一种器件。所以说，对ups的维护和保养，实际上主要就是对ups内部的蓄电池的维护和保养。　　

　　蓄电池的种类一般可分为铅酸电池、铅酸免维护电池及镍镉电池等，它们各自的特点如下：
