xmtc可现场标定，由于它由模块组成，还可以快速使用已标定的备件替换测量池。它安装灵活，可以分体安装。使得该显示单元可以安装在远离变送器的地方，远达1200feet(366 m)，只需用便宜的、无屏蔽的电缆连接。
