the hs284 hall effect sensor ic is fabricated from mixed signalcmos technology.it incorporates advanced chopper staues to provide accurate and stable magnetic switchpoints. 

hs284 is special made for low operation voltage 1.8v, to activethe chip which is includes the following on a single silicon chip:voltage regulator, hall voltage generator, small-signalamplifier,chopper stabilization, schmitt trigger, cmos outputdriver. advanced cmos wafer fabrication processing is used  to take advantage of low-voltage re, componentmatching,very low input-offset errors, and small componentgeometries.this device requires the presence of  unipolarmagnetic fields for operation.

the output transistor of the hs284 switches low (turns on) whenthe north pole magnetic field perpendicular to the hall sensorexceeds the operate point threshold (bop).  when the magneticfield is reduced below the release point brp , the outputtransistor turns off .
