Each unit can be configured for a variety of sensorinputs: RTD, themocouple, millivolt, or ohm. The advanced Rosemount644 temperature transmitter powers PlantWeb ® by communicatingimportant temperature diagnostics and PlantWeb alerts to ensureprocess health and enable economical single-sensorarchitecture.

Entering the temperature-resistance profile specific to the RTDsensor into the Rosemount 644 temperature transmitter results intransmitter-sensor matching.
