该颗粒加工过程中，秸秆等生物质经高温高压，其“木质素”彻底改变性质，高程度熟化，粗蛋白增加，粗纤维长度适中，灭虫灭菌，农药残留挥发，牲畜口性提高，利于消化吸收。长期喂养，奶、肉率大幅提升，同时也减少了精饲料的饲养比例，降低成本。

颗粒饲料不含虫菌，不含农药，极便大规模仓储及长途运输。在通风情况良好下，可保存8-12个月不变质，完全可保证大规模养殖的需要。
