The 2026 China Shanghai Refrigerated Noodles and Meat Products Exhibition (the 29th FHC Shanghai International Refrigerated Noodles and Meat Products Exhibition) will be held from November 12th to 14th, 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As one of the long-standing and large-scale professional refrigerated food exhibitions in China, FHC has held 28 consecutive sessions, serving over 4800 participating companies and covering 42 countries and regions worldwide. From the perspective of product structure, refrigerated pasta is undergoing structural replacement: the proportion of traditional dumplings has dropped from 63% in 2019 to 41% in 2024, while the compound annual growth rate of new products such as fresh frozen Wonton, fermented refrigerated Daoxiao Noodles, instant cooked refrigerated spaghetti has reached 29.7%. The meat products industry is also showing a similar trend - the exhibition area of high value-added categories such as cold and fresh segmented meat, conditioned meat rolls, and plant-based mixed meat patties has increased by 37% year-on-year. Behind this is a direct reflection of changes in the consumer side: the average capacity of household refrigerators in Shanghai is 186 liters (higher than the national average of 142 liters), and consumers under the age of 35 have an acceptance rate of 83% for products with a "7-day shelf life" (1 2025Q1 data). As a consumption hub in the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai's market sensitivity continues to provide a benchmark value for the whole country.
It is worth noting that this exhibition has particularly strengthened its ability to transform technology. Shanghai Bohua, in collaboration with the Chinese Society of Food Science and Technology, has established the "FHC Innovation Workshop" and selected 32 refrigeration process technologies that have passed pilot tests for on-site docking, including the "Micro freezing Antibacterial Dough Awakening Technology" developed by Jiangnan University and the "Low temperature Recombination Technology of Myofibrillar Protein" developed by the Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. These achievements are no longer limited to papers or laboratories, but directly match the production line transformation needs of 217 food contract factories in East China. During the exhibition, the "Guidelines for the Construction of Refrigerated Noodles Processing Clean Workshops (2026 Edition)" will also be released. This is the first technical specification in China to be developed by an exhibition institution and accepted by local food and drug regulatory departments, highlighting the organizer's industrial organizational power beyond commercial roles.
