A hard, black thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) in thethermoplastic elastomer (TPE) family. This material has lowfriction and is especially designed for use as a co-extrudedslip-coat layer on weatherstrip applications. It can be used as analternative to spray-on slip-coat systems used in automotiveweatherstrip applications. This grade of Santoprene 8000 TPV isshear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplasticse for extrusion. It is polyolefin based and completelyrecyclable.

Designed for applications re excellent wear resistance,excellent weather resistance or part surface with low frictionfactor.

Co-extrudable with other olefin thermoplastic rubbers.

Designed for excellent surface smoothness and flexibility asslip-coating material.
