SAA澳大利亚guojibiaozhun公司 (Standards Australia International Limited)是澳大利亚唯一的标准认证机构。 该机构于1922 年成立，当时名称为澳大利亚联邦工程标准协会， 1929年更名为澳大利亚标准协会。随着业务的不断发展， 1990 年又增加了质量认证服务有限公司 ( AssuranceServices Pty Ltd) 。1999 年，该机构彻底放弃了协会性质，以公司形式注册至今。
无论是进口或是在澳当地组装的电器产品，在进入澳大利亚市场销售前，首先要通过澳大利亚guojibiaozhun公司的认证。不同电器产品要做不同的产品质量认证。
所有电器产品均要做安全认证(SAA）。检验机构通过对电器的破坏性试验，检查电器的安全可靠性，比如在高温情况下，不间断地超负荷使用电器，检查电器的安全性能。对洗衣机的外表要进行漏水试验，检查是否漏电。对电器的插座进行非正常使用，看是否有不安全隐患等等。
进入澳大利亚市场的电器产品须符合当地的安全法规，即业界经常面对的SAA认证。由于澳大利亚和新西兰两国的互认协议，所有取得澳大利亚认证的产品，均可顺利地进入新西兰市场销售。
