火山岩高效挂膜生物滤料早应用于国外，我国曾进口火山岩滤料作为水处理生物载体。天津科艺环保材料有限公司根据国内外技术发展状况，同国内外同仁专家合作，在国内寻找到适合加工火山岩滤料的原料。经精选处理，生物活化等工序加工而成，表观为不规则颗粒，颜色为黑褐色。多孔质轻。颗粒的粒径可根据不同的要求进行生产。使用该生物滤料，处理可生化的有机工业废水、市政污水，生活杂排水、微污染水源水等。火山岩生物滤料是实现曝气生物滤池污水处理工艺的关键材料，本产品与传统的生物陶粒相比，不仅具有质地轻、化学稳定性好、强度适宜、表面粗糙易挂膜等优点，而且孔隙发达，分布合理，非常适合微生物的接种、驯化、繁殖生长。耐冲洗、不堵塞，具有良好的物理、化学和水力特性,可适应于不同污水净化的要求。由于该滤料比表面积大，可积累高浓度的微生物量，高浓度的微生物使曝气生物滤池的容积负荷增大，去除率高。单位体积污水处理效率比常规滤料提高5-7倍，可以满足环保排放标准。本产品经“建设部水处理滤料质量监督检测中心”检测，指标优良，性能可靠。
