the umr8.25 precision double-row ball bearing linear stagefeatures steel construction for high stability and rigidity. theball bearings and precision-ground bearing surfaces provideexceptional linear travel, with angular deviation better than100-200 µrad. umr8 series stages have double-row ball bearingsmaking them an excellent choice for carrying high loads up to 202lb. the moving carriage is preloaded by two springs to ensureconstant micrometer contact for smooth, backlash-free motion over a0.98 inch travel range. multiple drive options cover the range ofprecision positioning. standard bm series micrometers provide 1 µmsensitivity, while dm series differential micrometers offer 0.1 µm.for coarse motion with position locking, a fixed positioning kitreplaces the micrometer with two opposing adjustment screws andlock nuts. an optional carriage locking kit includes a screw thatmounts in the stage body opposite the micrometer. motorizedactuators can be added for precision motion control. generous holepatterns allow great flexibility in component placement on thestage mounting surface. two stages can be easily stacked in an xyconfiguration and mounted to a table or breadboard. multi-axisstage configurations are easily assembled using e anglebrackets. umr stages are compatible with utr and urm rotationstages, bgm goniometers, and sl series mirror mounts.
