genscript"s one-hour westerntmkit yields journal- or dot blot results in about one hour. using genscript"sbreakthrough immunodetection technology (patent pending), the kitreplaces the classical three-step western process, which takenearly five hours. transfer the proteins from gel to membrane andincubate it in the pretreat solution for five minutes. thenincubate in wb-2 solution with the mixture of primary antibody andwb-1 solution for 40 minutes. then wash three times for five or tenminutes each. the membrane can then be developed with the hrpsubstrate. the one-hour westerntmprocedure is contrastedwith a classical three-step western at right.
the one-hour westerntmkit is designed to produce highsignal with low background for quick and clear western analysis ofproteins.
except for basic kits, all other kits contain all the necessaryreagents, buffers and materials such as membrane for performing awestern blot, and no additional secondary antibody is needed.
the one-hour westerntmkit saves precious research time.for added cost-efficiency, we recommend our complete kits, whichcontain all the reagents, membrane, hrp substrate necessary for aperfect blot. however, the kit components are also soldseparately.

comparison of one-hour westerntmblot detectionwith classical western blot detection.
one-hour westerntmblot detection was compared withclassical western blot detection of α-tubulin protein from helacell lysate. serially diluted hela cell lysate samples were westernblotted to westcleartmnitrocellulose membrane(genscript, l00224) after sds-page. the membrane was then cut intotwo halves and processed with different procedures using α-tubulinmonoclonal antibody (abcam, ab7291): one-hourwesterntmblot detection (1 hr, right panel of figure 2)and classical western-blot detection (4.5 hours, left panel offigure 2).
