fragoltherm® x-160-a isa heat transfer fluid based on polydimethylsiloxane that is used inbaths for a temperature range of 0 °c to 180 °c and in other opensystems with contact with the atmosphere at temperatures up to 230°c. the product can even be used up to 280 °c in closed systemsunder the exclusion of oxygen. the maximum permissible filmtemperature is 290 °c.
