this two-component silicone elastomer system is explicitly designedfor electronic potting and encapsulation. it protects againstmechanical shock, vibration, impact damage, and environmentalcontamination. cht q-sil 553 is suitable for use in areas where lowflammability is required.

the cured elastomer can be repaired, and the component parts haverelatively low viscosities, allowing it to be easily mixed by handor machine. other features include a thermally conductive nature, a1:1 mix ratio, and a low modulus with moderate viscosity.
