the mp1570a is a versatile analyzer that can be used in ther&d, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and inspection ofsonet, sdh, pdh, and atm chipsets, systems and networks. itsplug-in or modular card architecture allows you with flexibleconfiguration options for various applications. concatenatedpayloads can be generated to simulate live traffic fromoc-3c/stm-1c to oc-192c/stm-64c. the mp1570a offers morestreamlined options and features enabling to reach its fullperformance potential and maximizes its testing capability.

besides all standard testing features that are found in all testsolutions, the mp1570a also offers a host of new advanced features--- cid pattern, no

 frme pattern, mixed payload as well as different types ofpowerful through-mode function which makes it a powerful tool forr&d and manufacturing.

new options such as: "packet over sonet/sdh" (pos) and "ip overatm" (ipoa) are now available in the mp1570a making it morepowerful than before. when e with pos option, real timecounting of ppp (point to point protocol) packets in sonet or sdhframes can be performed. ip packet data editing, programming, ppppacket to packet interval setting, and transmission of ppp packetswith fcs (frame check sequence) error --- all are possible with thepos option. and with the ipoa option, much faster analysis can beperformed as atm/aal5 errors and alarms can now be measured in realtime.

the mp1570a's functional design minimizes setup time and reducescosts by eliminating the need for multiple test instruments. theanalyzer has built in printer and 3.5 inch floppy disk drive asstandard. smaller in size, portable and yet supporting all ratesfrom 1.5 mbps to 10 gbps in a single mainframe, gives you moreflexibility to test any rate without going through the troubles ofchanging any of the plug-ins. with the capability of supporting allthree mappings - sonet, sdh and japanese (384k), the mp1570a can beused anywhere in the world which makes it a very cost-effective anda perfect analyzer to use globally.
