the door drive system consists of a controller and amaintenance-free drive unit, the geared motors.

controllers are electronic controllers connected to the powersupply via an external power supply unit. they are generallyconnected to the higher-level controller via digital or fieldbusinterfaces, and can be configured via a user interface.

these controllers are available for selection for industrialapplications:

sidoor atd401w, digital i/o, masses of up to 700 kg

sidoor atd420w, connected to the higher-level controllervia profibus interface, masses of up to 700 kg

sidoor atd430w, connected to the higher-level controllervia profinet interface, masses of up to 700 kg

the safe functions – force limitation, energy limitation and endposition detection – fulfill the res according toen iso 13849-1 for category 2 and performancelevel d. the drives are suitable for power-operated guardsaccording to en iso 14120

geared motors form the maintenance-free drive unit in the doordrive. the geared motors are dc motors with non-self-lockinggearing, and are speed-controlled. the set force and speed limitsare not exceeded.

operation of the named door drives does not require limitswitches. the door width and the "open"/"close" positions aredetermined automatically.

the power is transmitted by a toothed belt. the toothed beltpasses over a deflector pulley and can be fitted with 2 door clutchholders. this enables it to drive both one-sided andcentrally-opening doors. the accessories are not included in thescope of supply, see "additional units".
