topas 6017s-04 is an injection molding grade with a high heatdistortion temperature (170°c) and exceptional dimensionalstability. it is a glass-clear amorphous polymer with outstandingmoisture barrier, chemical resistance, high purity and anon-reactive surface making it an excellent choice for precisionoptics, healthcare and other high-tech products. lower leachablesand extractables of topas coc preserve food and drug stability and it is a non-polar substrate that does not promoteadsorption, denaturation, aggregation, or precipitation like glasscan. this grade has excellent heat resistance to withstand 121°cand 134°c steam and dry heat sterilization protocols, as well asgamma and eto procedures.
