| 背景介绍: isocitrate dehydrogenase (idh) catalyze theoxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. theisocitrate and isopropylmalate dehydrogenases family has threemembers, idh1, idh2 and idh3. idh2 plays a role in intermediarymetabolism and energy production. defects in idh2 are the cause ofd-2-hydroxyglutaric aciduria type 2 (d2hga2). somatic mosaicmutations of this protein have also been found associated to ollierdisease and maffucci syndrome, and r172w idh2 mutations do exist indiffusely infiltrative gliomas. |
