halocarbon 6.3 oil is a low molecular weight polymer ofchlorotrifluoroethylene (pctfe). this inert oil is manufactured bya controlled polymerization process and then is stabilized to giveit some very unique properties.
this oil is safe, nonflammable, and chemically inert – safe foroxygen, chlorine, and most reactive gas services. it has goodlubricity, high thermal stability, and lowcompressibility.
