the iiot wireless communication module forsitrans fm mag 8000 is a communication systemconsisting of a hardware part combined with a web-hostedapplication for device management and measurement data transfer.the main features of the module are to transmit periodically theflow readings from a mag 8000 field device to an end user,real time notifications of alarms, online configuration, and remotediagnosis of the field device.

the iiot wireless communication module is using the public mobilenetwork as channel for transferring the measurement data to themag 8000 iiot web application, where only authorized usershave access to. in addition, the iiot web application serves as aninterface for the end user to provide the measurement data peremail or ftp.

communication between the field device and web application runsover mqtt protocol, which is a widely used protocol in the iot(internet of things) world.

the iiot wireless communication module can be installed in theexisting mag 8000 with sw version 3.03 and higher. a cat m1,nb-iot or 2g network must be available at the installation site ofthe mag 8000.
