文莱公司注册名称规定：

不可带有royal, bank, building society, insurance, assurance, trustcompany, trustee company, chamber of commerce, chartered,cooperative, imperial, municipal 或具有相关含义的词语，或任何暗示苏丹王yangdi-pertuan，或皇室成员的名字，任何有关文莱或其它国家政府或地方当局的名字。

有限责任公司名须以limited, corporation, incorporated, société anonyme,sociedad anónima, berhad, sendirian berhad, gesellschaft mitbeschrankter haftung 或缩写结尾。
