pe1000主要是超高分子聚乙烯，它的机械性能高于一般的高密度（单位:g/cm3或kg/m3)聚乙烯。高分子聚乙烯衬板介电性能，耐环境应力开裂性亦较好。熔化温度220~260c。对于分子较大的材料，建议熔化温度范围在200~250c之间。具有突出的抗冲击性、耐应力开裂性、耐高温蠕变性、低摩擦系数、自润滑性，卓越的耐化学腐蚀性、抗疲劳性、噪音(分贝（db))阻尼性、耐核辐射性等。
