This document applies to roof safety (building products)situated on the surface of pitched roofs and permanently fixed tothe load-bearing roof construction. They are intended for theattachment of slaters’ ladders, for supporting working platformsand as anchorage points to which personal protective e falls or for restraint are attached. It specifies essentialdimensions, materials to be used, re with respect to theload-bearing capacity, of the roof safety hooks fastened to theroof construction including their fastening system and the extentof testing. This document does not apply to installations which areused exclusively as anchorage points to which personal protectivee against falls or for restraint are attached (see EN795).
