利用座板式单人吊具进行悬吊作业时，除工作绳外，必须配备生命绳；工作绳上的手控下降装置应使用棒式、多板式、八字环式、卸扣式等下降器，禁止直接用工作绳进行下降作业；生命绳上必须设置自锁器、安全短绳、安全带等防坠落装置；
作业过程中，作业人员应先系好安全带，再将自锁器按标记箭头向上安装在生命绳上，扣好保险，后上座板装置，检查无误后方可作业；工作绳和生命绳分两个栓固点进行设置，严禁缠绕在一起，在墙角或锐角接触部位必须采取保护衬垫。
