General Description

TheTD1482A is a monolithic pulse-width-modulated (PWM)

synchronousstep-down switch mode regulator with two

internalpower MOSFETs. It achieves 2A continuous output

currentover a wide input supply range with excellent load

and lineregulation. Current mode operation provides fast

transientresponse and eases loop stabilization. Fault

conditionprotection includes cycle-by-cycle current limit and

thermalshutdown.

Thisdevice, available in

an SOP8package, provides a

verycompact solution with minimal external components
