a soft, black, uv resistant thermoplastic vulcanizate (tpv) inthe thermoplastic elastomer (tpe) family. this material has goodfluid resistance and is specially formulated for low density foamedprofile extrusion applications. this grade of santoprene tpv isshear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplasticse for extrusion. it is polyolefin based and completelyrecyclable.
can be foamed using water or chemical blowing agents.
