高温合金中金属钨夹杂的来源有二：

一是真空感应炉熔炼时钨条没有完全熔化而残留于合金中。

二是电极棒焊接时氩弧焊所用钨极粘结在焊缝中。另据用户对建筑钢材高性能化的要求，推广了在中厚板方面行之有效的tmcp技术，再加入nb、v和ti等以钢材强度，现已在钢生产中应用。镍基单晶高温合金,是制造先进发动机涡轮叶片的关键材料。为了单晶高温合金的承温能力，需要增大合金中难熔元素的例，这容易造成合金在定向凝固中产生雀、杂晶等缺陷,尤其是大尺寸铸件的铸造缺陷问题更为明显。的高速凝固法由于温度梯度低的问题，容易产生显微孔洞，显微孔洞了基体的连续性,在变形中造成应力集中,严重危害合金的使用性能。为了镍基单晶高温合金中显微孔洞，科学院金属研究所采用液态金属冷却新艺(li,lmc)，并针对一种自行研发的含re分数为4%的第三代镍基单晶高温合金,实验对了lmc艺与的高速凝固法所获材料的显微缺陷情况，证明lmc艺优于的高速凝固法。

含钨高温合金常用来制作喷气发动机中的涡轮叶片及其他高温承力件。由于金属钨较难熔化，含钨高温合金中容易出现钨夹杂。如果叶片等零件内部存在钨夹杂，夹杂将引起应力集中，并成为交变载荷下的疲劳源，严重影响发动机涡轮叶片、箍段和箍套等零件的使用可靠性。因此，研究人员对含钨高温合金棒材中钨夹杂形成的原因进行了详细的分析，以期为高温合金的生产提供理论指导和依据。研究发现g4049合金中的钨夹杂物形貌极其不规则，与基体存在类似于裂纹的间隙，夹杂内部存在黑圆点。进一步能谱分析可知，该夹杂物主要成分为钨和少量的铈，黑点主要成分为铈。
