stephaneum is the central lecturebuilding of the catholic university， containing a large auditoriumand several lecture theatres of varying sizes which are arranged ina way that reminds us of houses on a street in a small town. theceiling creates the atmosphere of foliage overhanging the corridorsand rooms.the building was designedby imre makovecz in 1995.  makovecz was one of the mostprominent proponents of organic architecture; and stephaneum had nodoubt built in an organic style.
