3m™ scotch-weld™ void filling and edge sealing compound ec-3524 b/ais an ideal solution for void filling, edge sealing, and as anabradable compound in aircraft engines. we formulated our two-partfire retardant epoxy compound with a 90 minute worklife to provideample time to position parts for fit and keep processes movingforward. it achieves full cure within 48 hours at 75°f (24°c) andis available in blue, off-white or black when mixed. it is amalleable paste with an extended worklife that allows shaping forapplications such as a fairing compound for aerodynamic flushness,and can also be used for bonding inserts. as a fire retardant epoxycompound, 3m scotch-weld ec-3524 can be used to create an effectiveseal. its solids content helps it hold shape as well.
