this specification covers a lubricating  coatingintended for use in the hot forming of titanium metalsto prevent galling in the forming operation. thisproduct is also excellent for die casting  aluminumand zinc metals. it has also been found to beof considerable value when used in tube bending orextruding. the product is designed to function as aboundary lubricant in cold forming operations and inhot forming at temperatures up to and exceeding 1500°f. physicalcharacteristics - thecoating is a  compositionof lubricating pigments suspended in a  modifiedhigh temperature resin binder with toluene asthe carrier. it is dull black in color and will not blister,crack or peel.  temperature -this material may be used in a  temperaturerange of -65°fto above 1500°f.
