• 同意：

i totally agree

definitely/absolutely/for sure

i couldn’t agree more

example: does gift-giving common in china?

for sure, we often give other presents during importantoccasions like birthdays, spring festival, weddings and etc.

• 可以理解但不同意：

i see your point but…

i see where you’re coming from, but for me, i…

i see what you’re getting at. however, …

that’s one way of looking at it though…

example: do you think the relationship between neighbours areworse than before in your country?

i mean, that’s on way of looking at it, people are busy withdifferent things in life. they don’t have the time & opportunityeven patience to get to know others. but generally, people arestill warm and friendly.

• 完全不同意：

i see things differently, i mean…

i’m not sure about that, i think…

i don’t really agree with that…

example: is it possible that one day robots will replaceteachers?

i’m not sure about that, i think teachers are able to connectwith students on so many levels, academically, personally. robotsdon’t have emotion, they’re machines. there’s no genuine, authenticcommunication.
