该产品是丙烯酰胺单体的均聚物，经造粒、干燥、粉碎而成，离子化程度低。产品外观呈白色颗粒或粉末固体状。絮凝性能受水ph值和盐类波动的影响小。在酸性条件下优于阴离子型，絮凝强度比阴离子型高分子絮凝剂的强。

电镀污水处理药剂选型：在后段处理要用聚丙烯酰胺配合无机絮凝剂来处理电镀废水，实践证明用水解度比较高的阴离子聚丙烯酰胺效果比较突出，一般推荐水解度为25-30效果为佳。药剂单耗电镀污水处理预处理过程要用到聚合氯化铝和阴离子聚丙烯酰胺，根据污水的浓度不同药剂的添加量也不同，浓度越高添加量越大，建议加药量约为30～100ppm（即0.03～0.1公斤/吨废水）。
