Chinese government has announced and confirmed that tourism was the strategic pillar industry of China national economy, would attach great importance to the development of leisure industry. In China, hot spring & tourism industry is one of the importance branches of leisure industry, which bears the function of tourism, leisure, wellness and therapy, etc. 中国现代温泉旅游产业发展了约15年，之前一直以休闲娱乐为主，随着中国经济的发展，人们越来越重视温泉的疗养功能，而目前中国温泉的医疗研究及技术发展比较欠缺。欧洲温泉疗养的研究和技术发展则由于应用历史悠久、设备技术革新速度快等方面的原因一直处于国际领先地位。 With 15 years’ development, China’s modern hot spring & tourism industry has shifted its focus from leisure to hot spring’s therapy. At the present, researches and technologies for medical and therapeutic function of hot springs are two shortcomings of China’s hot spring & tourism industry. In European countries, researches and technologies had developed into a leading figure in the world and been consolidated over the centuries.
